Mr. Li is the Advisor to H.E. the Governor of Central Bank of UAE.
His major responsibilities include the implementation of the Fintech Strategy and establishment of a FinTech Office for the CBUAE; implementation of the National Payment Strategy and the continued enhancement of the financial market infrastructure of U.A.E.; as well as the provision of advisory support to the digital transformation of the CBUAE.
Prior joining CBUAE, Mr. Li was the Executive Director of the Financial Infrastructure Department of the Hong Kong Monetary Authority (HKMA) and spent 17 years at the HKMA.
He has also worked for the JP Morgan and Chase and was in charge of the Information Risk Department for the entire Asia region.
Dr Raidan ALSAQQAF is an Economist at the United Nations' office in Abu Dhabi.
He has over 18
years of work experience in various fields, including the UN-Secretariat, UN Women, UNDP,
International Labour Organization, and the U.S. Agency for International Development.

His particular areas of specialty include Human Capital Development, Crisis Management & Mitigation, Sustainable Development.

Mr. Chan is head of research and macroeconomics at ADIA (Abu Dhabi Investment Authority).
His responsibilities are global macro, policy, market across major developed, developing and frontier world as well as corporate credit market.
In his former role, he headed the systematic alpha strategy and index team Europe at Credit Suisse. In addition, he has been an IMF economist between 2006-2007.
Mr. Chan holds a PhD and MPhil in Economics from Cambridge.
